The curriculum of Flatiron Bootcamp varies on each student’s background, but all students receive training in web development and computer programming skills before they start working on their projects.
The Flatiron course curriculum is highly structured and follows a progressive learning model that starts with basic programming concepts and builds up to more advanced topics as your skills develop. You can expect to learn how to code in JavaScript (ES6) before moving on to frontend web development with React or Angular; then move onto backend web development with NodeJS or Python; then move onto mobile application development with Swift or Objective-C, and finally finish by building out an entire product from top to bottom using all these technologies together.
The Flatiron Bootcamp program lasts 20 weeks, which means students spend two months at Flatiron working on projects related to their chosen field before moving on to the next stage of their education. The school offers a limited number of scholarships for low-income students who are interested in attending but don’t have the financial resources to pay tuition fees out of pocket.
