Metis Program
The Metis program is flexible, and students can schedule classes accordingly. 
– Full-time: A student must commit 40 to 60 hours every week. The duration of the program ranges from six to ten weeks. The short immersive courses, if done full-time, take two weeks to finish.
– Part-time: This is ideal for busy students as they can schedule classes when they are free. The classes are conducted online and take approximately six weeks to complete. It requires six to eight hours of commitment every week. 
– Online Flex: This is the most extended program that takes up to 28 weeks to complete. A student is advised to commit 15 to 20 hours each week. 

How much does Metis Bootcamp cost?

Other variables will determine how much one pays as tuition fees, such as course plan, program, and delivery method. The tuition cost ranges from $750 to 18,599.

What are the payment plans at Metis?

Upfront Payment: Paid before starting the class.
Installments: With the monthly installment plan, the student is required to pay a deposit of $1500 in seven days or less after signing the enrollment contract to reserve a seat. A non-refundable registration fee of $100 is included. The remaining tuition will be paid in three monthly installments.

Financing: Metis, in collaboration with Ascent, have come together to offer students a financing option where they stretch the repayment option to a number of months to students who have been accepted to the bootcamp. 

Does Metis offer Income Share Agreements (ISAs)?

Presently, Metis does not offer any income share agreements. ISAs permit you to go through the course after paying an upfront payment (minimal), and the balance will be paid after one has gotten a job. 

Does Metis Bootcamp offer any scholarships?

Metis has scholarships targeting women, underrepresented groups, the LGBTQ community, veterans, or people in the US military. These groups are eligible for $2,000 or 3,000 scholarships. This will depend on the bootcamp program chosen. There are 30 scholarships that Metis offers per unit. 

Furthermore, Metis encourages face-to-face discussions with other data scientists once in a while. Is There Any Job Guarantee After Metis?

No. Metis does not guarantee a job after training. However, The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) certifies them, which often reviews the job placement rate. There is a requirement from ACCET that a 70% rate of all its bootcamps should have job placement.  

Metis provides career support to its student’s search by writing resumes, putting together a portfolio, interviewing, etc., as they search for jobs upon graduation. 

Can You Pay School Fees In Installments at Metis?

Metis Bootcamp Acceptance Rate

3. If the candidate passes the first two rounds, they will be invited to do a technical exercise with questions in linear algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and python.
